War Room Outfitters:

A Veteran-Owned Tactical Store Opens in Sneads Ferry

By Christopher Skelly |

Sneads Ferry, NC — The coastal town known for its tight-knit military community is gaining a new veteran-owned addition this fall. War Room Outfitters, the latest venture from husband-and-wife team Coy and Jessica Azimuth, is set for its grand opening in early November 2025.

Located just outside the gates of Camp Lejeune and Stone Bay, War Room Outfitters aims to bring mission-essential clothing, gear, and accessories directly to the Marines, veterans, and first responders who call the area home. The shop will feature tactical apparel, packs, and equipment from trusted brands like Havok, High Speed Gear, Viktos, Born Primitive Tactical, Mystery Ranch, and Eberlestock.

Coy, a former Special Operations Capabilities Specialist SOCS with MARSOC’s Raider Battalion, and Jessica, a local real-estate agent, are already well-known in Sneads Ferry. The couple co-owns Wet Bucket Tattoo, located next door to the new store, and Ronin Tattoo, their private studio just down the street.

They say War Room was born from noticing a glaring gap in the local market.

“The brands that I wanted, you couldn’t find in the mall or at the PX on base, so instead of people having to shop online, we wanted to bring it to them in a brick-and-mortar store. I know that if I’m spending $200 on a cool jacket, I want to put my hands on it.” — Coy

In addition to apparel, gun accessories, and tactical gear, War Room will feature an in-house gunsmith offering custom firearm work and stippling, as well as a custom screen-printing setup for T-shirts and hoodies. While the shop plans to carry select high-end firearms from local builders, the focus for now remains on clothing and accessories.

During their soft opening last week, we gained an inside look at the environment the couple plans to cultivate. Coy and Jessica invited community members to share input on what brands and products they’d like to see stocked. That feedback, they say, will directly shape their growing inventory.

More than just a tactical outfitter, War Room represents a continuation of the couple’s mission to support the local community through veteran-run businesses.

“We’re building the kind of culture we want to see here in Sneads Ferry.” Jessica said

With the doors set to open next month, War Room Outfitters looks poised to become a cornerstone for the area’s military community.
